Elaine is beyond excited for Halloween. She asks everyone she talks to what they are going to be. If you ask her she says she is going to be a witch. She's not. We played dress ups with Charlotte's costume as well as her costume from 2 years ago. That's right, her 6-12 month skunk costume was a hit. We were able to get on without trying to button it. She did not want to take it off despite the profuse sweating that was happening. (It is still really hot here.). Charlotte would only stand for the paw to be put on which she hated. Elaine hated that she could not have the paw was to little to fit her.
Of course Elaine has been sampling as much candy as her mother will let her. I was surprised the other day when she appeared with a bag of candy I had put away in the cupboard. Where there is a will there is a chair to facilitate getting things that are not within reach.

That skunk costume is super darling. I'm glad no one is around to catch pics of me with choco hands. I can't wait to see your girls in their REAL costumes.
