The most fun part of January was the PF Chang's Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon that my brother, Mark, and I ran in together. Mark caught the marathon bug last year so we took the chance to run 13.1 miles together. We totally rocked! Personal Records were achieved and Mark didn't even cry when I beat him across the finish line. If you know my brother and his fierce competitiveness you will understand the significance of this. Love you, Big Brother! Let's run a marathon together this year. That will be the real test of who is toughest. My sisters Megan and Jessica along with brother-in-law Matt also came to cheer us on.
The girls are getting bigger and smarter every day. Charlotte's big accomplishment in January was potty training. That's right we are 99% diaper free around here and I love it!
Elaine never ceases to amaze me with the things she comes up with to entertain herself. January was beautiful with lots of sunshine and a little rain. She is ready for swimming. She went through all the summer clothes until she found a swimming suit, filled up the sandbox with the hose and then put all the towels she could find in the water. Awesome.
Good thing I think she is mostly funny.
