I'll Take That to Go

The other day Rob and I decided to try and run some errands together. Rob wanted to go to the bookstore and I wanted some running gear. Once we got to one of the many strip malls in the area we decided to divide and meet up. I took Charlotte and Rob Elaine. It was disastrous and reminded us why we never go anywhere. Charlotte refused the shopping cart by throwing a huge tantrum and I guess Elaine ran around like a crazy person in Borders. As we were driving home frustrated Elaine asked for her window to be unrolled. A minute later she says "Can I have some chicken nuggets?". My reply was "when we get home." She gives me a look like what are you talking about and looks away. As we pulled up to a stop light I looked back as she leans as far forward as she can and yells out the window "Can I have some chicken nuggets". She didn't want me to get them for her, she was ordering them from the imaginary drive thru window. When we realized what she was doing we laughed and she ordered fries and a coke to go with her nuggets. What can I say? She doesn't miss anything.

I just recently started to take the boys to a store again. It will get better. I would love to see them in a Davids Bridal slamming those glass doors (;

That is hillarious! If you wouldn't have taken them you would have missed it. Priceless!
