Catching Up

That seems to be my theme these days. Prepare for picture overload.

The first weekend in May I took a trip to Las Vegas. Megan and Jessica met me there and we celebrated Megan turning 25 and I took a class to become a Zumba instructor. It was so fun but I missed Elaine's Mother's Day Tea and Art Show at her preschool. Thankfully I have a great friend who stepped in and took her for me. These are some of the pictures she took.

They started with a few songs.

Elaine learned Skid-a-marink. I think she really meant it the "I love you" part.
Rob cooked his best meal for them while I was gone. In other words, he picked up pizza. Food:check, Hair brushed and pulled out of the face: not so much.

With the end of school Elaine also got to do some Pint size Olympic fun. A bunch of 4-year-olds playing and running around is pretty adorable.

Both girls have a new love: makeup

Charlotte loves it the most.

They are best friends and they play so nicely together most of the time. I love to listen to there conversations. They say funny stuff!

Elaine loves to play royalty.  In this photo she is Queen of the Dress-ups. Probably the only time I have not had to remind her to clean them up. She came up with the seating arrangement for her throne all on her own.

She is very reward driven. To help her want to clean up we have to give her a medal when she is done. Thankfully I have run enough races that we have them lying around. She is also modeling one of her dress-ups. The dress she is wearing is one my parents brought back from Hawaii when I was about 3. That makes it really old. Polyester sure is a durable fabric.

Elaine really loves preschool and we are sad it is out for the summer.

This is Elaine with her teacher. Mrs M. retired after 20 years of teaching preschool. Elaine loved her.

What, no pictures from our first Vegas trip? I can't believe Rob bought that much pizza for the three of them...oh, Rob!

Those kids are cute!
