Missed it Again

Two months in a row! That is right I am losing my ability to bust out the blog posts and so we will once again revisit the previous month a week into the next one.

In February Elaine took a tumbling class at the community center by our house. It was a little sketchy but she loved it and seemed to retain a lot of she learned. I decided to have her try  a real gymnastics class this month so hopefully she loves it as much.

She is lining up her hands and feet to do a cartwheel.

I have been running a lot to prepare for the Ragnar Relay team I was on. The race was 204 miles from Prescott AZ to Tempe. I got up early and put in a few miles before Rob left for work. One morning I was greeted at the door by girls yelling "We are having cookies for breakfast!" Sure enough. Chocolate chip before 7AM was a hit. No surprise there. Where was Rob you might ask, holding the package of cookies for them of course.

Here is my Ragnar Car #2 team. To explain there are teams of 12 people in two different cars on a team. Each person is responsible for 3 separate legs of the race. Each leg varies in distance and difficulty. This year there was an unfortunate accident at 1AM that eventually resulted in the death of an 18 year old by on another team. Due to misinformation, exhaustion, a long waiting period and emotion our team decided that we would not continue. 3 ladies did decide to go to the end of the race and run the last legs and cross the finish line for all of us. It was fun while it lasted.

I used to think I had control at my house but now realize it was my imagination. I have lost the right to pick out clothes unless I am willing to put up a fight. This day I didn't have it in me. No joke, she hand picked each piece. The only saving grace is that outfits are only warn for a few hours at most before it is time for a toddler wardrobe change.

And this picture is self explanatory.

They make me tired and a little crazy but moments like this melt my heart.

Dear Jill. Once-a-month blog updates are not cutting it for me. Love, your brother.
