Today was Elaine's 2 year check up with the pediatrician. Everything went very well and the pediatrician said we must be doing something right. Developmentally she is right on and size wise she is making progress. Her current stats are:
Weight 24lbs even
- This is almost a 22 pound increase from birth
- This was a little tricky to get. She had to stand with her heals to the wall while the nurse lowered a metal piece to the top of her head. Elaine was very concerned about what was going on above her head. Her exact words were "Oh no, my hair". Oh yes, she is a girly girl.
- This is a 17 inch increase from birth
- This is were the picture comes in. Her head circumference has not changes in the last 8 months. She may have inherited her dads pin head. It's ok. I still love them both. Maybe some day she will grow into her front teeth.

That is too funny about the measuring part. It must be so weird to go to the doctor with her and have her be able to follow directions and understand some of what is going on around her.
I think she is tougher about shots because nothing can compare to all of the prodding she endured in her first month of life!
